Andrew Chase Fine Woodworking

Andrew is a furniture builder in Chimacum, Washington. He came to woodworking after a decade in the bicycle industry and over a decade as a history teacher in Seattle Public Schools. His goal is to build you beautiful and functional furniture that will last generations. Andrew is passionate about centering and maintaining the tradition of hand tool use in furniture building. When he isn't swimming in wood shavings, you'll probably find him enjoying time outside with his kiddo and partner.

"In 2022, when I left the classroom and the city, I resolved to nurture those parts of myself long neglected during my teaching career. I needed to reestablish the relationship with my hands and satisfy my need to create. Woodworking held the deepest interest to me, and 2023 and 2024 I trained at the Port Townsend School of Woodwork."
